What you Really Need is Not What You Think You Need.
Nothing truly grows and flourishes —
nothing truly blooms and becomes part of your reality
—without compassion;
without your personal investment and commitment towards yourself —
from a place of compassion for yourself.
Nothing will really be enough, feel good enough, be what you want it to be long enough if you never anchor into your own compassion towards yourself.
Self-compassion could look like
‘I accept myself truly and fully’
‘I am enough’
‘I am worthy of love’
‘I allow myself to feel all of my feelings’
‘I trust and support my own choices’
‘My needs are valid’
While feeling and choosing self-compassion isn’t always easy as we’ve collectively been programmed to seek external validation, fulfillment, and belonging, and fear rejection and isolation, it is still possible, and very much necessary.
