The Power of Your Rejected & Denied Feelings.

Have you ever thought about how much energy you’ve spent all these years suppressing, containing, rejecting, denying, and pushing away your feelings and emotions?

“Now is not the right time for that feeling, if I cry/scream/yell now it will make this person uncomfortable, if I show them how I really feel I might hurt their feelings, I have to be quiet, they will think I/it is inappropriate/crazy/too much/weak….”

The more we try to avoid what comes up, for whatever reason; our programming, past hurt, shame, and guilt about our experiences and emotions (both positive/good & unpleasant), the more we’ll continue to stay stuck within them, in this paralyzed state of believing limiting thoughts about ourselves and choosing limiting actions.

One of the most powerful techniques I have found to bring myself out of these paralyzing limiting negative states so that I can make the changes needed for me to bring in more joy, ease, flow, and love in my life, and release these trapped and buried emotions (without having to rehearse the event or understand it on a rational level) is breathwork. Breathwork puts us in a state where energy starts to move, and memories and emotions can come up /unfiltered and seemingly out of nowhere/ so that we can more gently release them from our system and with that create that space for making those changes that we do want from a place of self-love. It is truly transformational and deeply healing.
